GCP Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled GCP Administrator to design, deploy, and manage Google Cloud infrastructure for our Saudi Arabia operations. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable cloud solutions while automating processes through Infrastructure as Code.

Key responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and manage GCP IaaS resources such as Compute Engine, VPC, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and Cloud Storage.
• Deploy and operate GCP PaaS services including GKE, App Engine, Cloud Run, and Cloud SQL.
• Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform, creating reusable modules.
• Implement IAM roles and security policies following least‑privilege principles.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting with Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Integrate Terraform with CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years focused on GCP.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Google Cloud Platform services.
• Proven experience using Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with networking, containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and Linux systems.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Preferred GCP certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect).
• Exposure to multi‑cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and security/compliance frameworks.
