General Ledger Accountant – Group Internal Finance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to lead internal group accounting for our construction and engineering materials business at the Riyadh head office. The role focuses on maintaining accurate books, controlling project costs, and delivering financial analysis that supports senior management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the group general ledger and produce monthly and quarterly internal management reports.
• Perform engineering cost estimation, including material procurement, direct project costs, and subcontractor allocations.
• Analyse project gross margin, cash flow, budget versus actual, and flag cost variances.
• Maintain the internal accounting system, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide accurate books and schedules to the outsourced tax firm for coordination.
• Execute bank reconciliations and cash‑flow tracking.
• Prepare management presentations in English and support ad‑hoc analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (accredited).
• Minimum 5 years of general ledger experience within construction or engineering materials.
• Proven ability in cost estimation and financial analysis.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Transferable Iqama preferred for candidates already residing in Saudi Arabia.
