General Manager – Architecture & Design (Principal Architect)

About the role

Qureos Inc is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead its Architecture & Design division in Riyadh. The role combines strategic business leadership with hands‑on architectural expertise to drive growth, ensure design excellence, and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the division’s strategic direction and business growth plan.
• Oversee planning, design, coordination, and delivery of hospitality, F&B, retail, commercial and mixed‑use projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, BIM managers, BIM architects, BIM modelers and project coordinators.
• Maintain design standards, technical excellence and best practices across all projects.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Participate in client presentations, negotiations and executive‑level meetings.
• Review and approve concept designs, development packages, construction documents and technical submissions.
• Monitor project profitability, resource planning, budgets and overall business performance.
• Drive innovation through new technologies, BIM methodologies and sustainable design practices.
• Mentor department leaders and foster a high‑performance, collaborative culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; professional registration or license preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in architecture and design, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record leading architecture firms or large multidisciplinary design departments.
• Strong portfolio of hospitality, F&B, retail, commercial and mixed‑use projects.
• Extensive knowledge of architectural and interior design coordination, BIM workflows and project management.
• Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition and contract negotiations.
