Geotechnical Engineer

About the role

Fugro is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Geotechnical Engineer to deliver high‑quality geotechnical services, develop engineering reports and support project delivery across field and office environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide geotechnical services in line with client requests, contract specifications and Fugro procedures.
• Plan, prepare method statements and quality plans for field investigations, supervise field and office personnel, and ensure all field tests and sample collections meet project requirements.
• Manage data from site to laboratory, verify borehole logs and test results, and produce factual and interpretative engineering reports.
• Develop foundation soil parameters, perform design assessments and engineering analyses, and review peer reports for quality compliance.
• Act as product manager for selected Fugro products, maintain knowledge through literature and learning portals, and support QHSSE implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of civil and geotechnical engineering experience, including preparation of geotechnical reports and foundation designs.
• Fluent English with strong report writing and communication skills.
