Government Relations Specialist (Saudi National) – Riyadh

About the role

The Government Relations Specialist manages and coordinates all interactions between the company and government entities in Saudi Arabia, ensuring full compliance with local labour, immigration and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the company and government entities such as MHRSD, GOSI, Jawazat and ZATCA.
• Process work visas, Iqama issuance and renewal, exit/re‑entry visas and other immigration requirements for employees.
• Handle registrations, updates and ongoing compliance on platforms including Qiwa, GOSI, Muqeem, Mudad and Absher in coordination with HR and Finance.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding by ensuring all required government procedures, documentation and clearances are completed.
• Coordinate commercial registrations, licenses, chamber of commerce certificates and other company permits.
• Prepare, submit and track official letters, forms and documentation required by authorities.
• Monitor changes in Saudi labour law and immigration regulations and advise the company on operational impacts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in Government Relations, HR Operations or a similar role in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
