Graduate Structural Engineer (Buildings Market)

About the role

Join Mott MacDonald as a Graduate Structural Engineer supporting a large portfolio of building structures across the Middle East. You will work under the supervision of the Project Manager, gaining hands‑on experience with engineering codes, BIM tools and stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assignments that apply basic engineering codes and principles.
• Assist with the preliminary selection and adaptation of engineering solutions.
• Attend design coordination meetings and prepare weekly minutes.
• Provide input for monthly progress reports.
• Support change‑control management.
• Coordinate with authorities and project stakeholders.
• Assist the Project Manager with correspondence, meetings and other tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Motivation to achieve Chartered Engineer status or membership of a professional engineering institute.
• Innovative, creative and hands‑on problem‑solver.
• Proactive ownership of career development.
• Flexibility to adapt to different work styles and behaviours.
