HCIS/SAIS Security Consultant

About the role

The HCIS/SAIS Security Consultant advises clients on compliance with HCIS and SAIS security standards, delivering practical recommendations to protect facilities and operations. This full‑time hybrid position combines on‑site assessments with remote analysis, documentation and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assess physical and electronic security controls and review system architectures against HCIS/SAIS requirements.
• Prepare security risk assessments, mitigation plans and technical proposals aligned with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders, support audits and inspections, and deliver training to ensure sustained compliance.
• Stay current with relevant regulations, technologies and industry trends, translating them into actionable client guidance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience on HCIS/SAIS design and installation projects for Class 1 facilities, or equivalent experience in commercial or residential projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in security, engineering, IT or a related field; HCIS‑related certifications are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel within the region for site visits and client meetings.
