Head Therapist

About the role

The Head Therapist leads the daily operations of the sauna and spa at Sofitel Riyadh, ensuring a high standard of treatments and guest experiences. This role combines hands‑on therapeutic work with management of staff and facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain safety and privacy in the massage rooms while providing courteous, professional service.
• Perform scheduled massage sessions and ensure proper attire for guests.
• Conduct daily equipment checks, record necessary repairs, and keep an instructor on duty at all times.
• Coordinate closely with the line manager to guarantee smooth spa operations.
• Maintain regular contact with guests, gather feedback, and conduct treatment evaluations.

Required profile

• Certified Spa Therapist with international experience in a hotel or spa environment.
• Hands‑on professional with a passion for delivering excellent customer care.
• Positive, approachable, and able to lead, motivate and adapt in various situations.
• Strong English communication skills and solid interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in a wide range of massage therapies.
• Ability to operate and maintain spa equipment safely.
