Health, Safety & Environment Officer

About the role

The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer will support alfanar's manufacturing and construction sites in Riyadh by ensuring compliance with company HSE policies, monitoring workplace health and safety conditions, and assisting with environmental controls.

Key responsibilities

• Report employee illnesses, health concerns, and ensure welfare is addressed.
• Observe proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and assist in identifying hazards.
• Support the update of HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control) documentation.
• Measure factory noise levels and recommend corrective actions or PPE.
• Document incidents, near‑misses, accidents and assist in basic investigations.
• Gather employee suggestions for health and safety improvements.
• Participate in toolbox meetings, evacuation drills and fire/ environmental trainings.
• Collaborate with teams, communicate effectively and follow delivery schedules.
• Escalate complex operational problems and ensure compliance with quality and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Safety Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to report health issues and maintain employee welfare.
• Basic understanding of risk assessment and control measures.
• Good documentation skills for incident reporting and HSE awareness.
• Team‑oriented attitude with openness to feedback.

Required skills
