Healthcare Nutrition Specialist – Medical Representative

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist to act as a medical representative in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. You will promote Danone’s Specialized Nutrition (SN) portfolio to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and support their nutrition‑related needs.

Key responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, clinics and private practices regularly to build scientific‑based relationships with HCPs and position SN solutions as the preferred choice.
• Deliver accurate product information, clinical studies and scientific presentations (audio/visual) to HCPs and key opinion leaders.
• Identify business opportunities, monitor competitor activity and propose actions to protect market share.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, handle queries/complaints and ensure compliance with WHO and local regulations for infant formula.
• Prepare and submit promotional activity reports, manage daily database entries and track key performance indicators.
• Participate in team meetings, seminars and nutrition‑education events.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background with the ability to discuss nutrition solutions confidently.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with HCPs.
• Proactive, results‑oriented mindset and ability to work independently in the field.
