Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, guest‑focused Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and service standards throughout the hotel. The successful candidate will coordinate daily activities, ensure rooms are prepared to the highest quality, and respond promptly to guest needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily job assignments for Housekeeping Attendants and issue keys and supplies.
• Monitor VIP, Do Not Disturb, Sleep‑Out and double‑lock rooms and take appropriate actions.
• Attend daily briefings, receive special instructions and manage check‑outs before reporting rooms as vacant.
• Handle special guest requests and ensure they are fulfilled.
• Inspect cleaned areas using checklists, verify supply standards and report immediate repairs.
• Complete reports and forward lost items to the Lost & Found department.
• Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, corridors and stairwells.
• Train and support Housekeeping Attendants, providing performance feedback to superiors.
• Assist with inventory control and ensure proper handling and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma or vocational training in hospitality.
• Previous minor supervisory experience within a hotel housekeeping department.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving and cross‑cultural sensitivity.
• Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and strong teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Experience with Opera property management system (advantageous).
