HSE Manager (Saudi National)

About the role

Egis, an international engineering, consulting and construction firm operating in 70 countries, is looking for a detail-oriented HSE Manager to join its site supervision team in Riyadh. The role develops, implements and oversees health, safety and environmental programs, builds a culture of safety excellence and ensures compliance with Saudi regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures and programs aligned with Saudi labor laws and international best practice
• Carry out risk assessments and hazard analyses, and investigate incidents and accidents with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Manage compliance audits and inspections
• Deliver HSE training and awareness programs for employees, contractors and stakeholders
• Maintain HSE documentation, records and reports for regulatory submissions
• Monitor safety performance metrics, KPIs and trends to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to embed safety in daily work
• Maintain and calibrate safety equipment and emergency response systems, and lead emergency response planning and drills
• Keep up with changes in Saudi regulations, OSHA standards and industry best practice

Required profile

• Saudi national
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in HSE management or related safety roles
• Proven expertise in risk assessment, hazard identification and incident investigation
• Strong knowledge of Saudi labor laws, local regulations and international safety standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic
• Preferred: NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent HSE certification
• Preferred: experience with ARAMCO standards or similar large-scale industrial operations
