Instructor Pilot (Basic) – Flight Training on PC‑21

About the role

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced military or ex‑military flying instructor to deliver basic flight training on the PC‑21 aircraft for Royal Saudi Air Force cadets based in Al‑Majmaah.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct instructional flight missions for cadet pilots in line with Royal Saudi Air Force training syllabi.
• Report to the Head of Flying (KFAA) and ensure compliance with training standards.
• Provide ground briefings and debriefings to develop cadet proficiency.

Required profile

• RAF A2 instructor qualification (or equivalent) for basic instruction.
• Minimum 1,500 total flight hours, including at least 800 hours on fixed‑wing aircraft.
• At least 400 hours of basic flight instructional experience.
• Maximum age of 51 at contract start.
• Strong interpersonal and people‑development skills to mentor Saudi cadets.

Required skills

• RAF A2 instructor qualification (or equivalent).
• Fixed‑wing aircraft operation.
• Flight instruction on basic trainer aircraft (PC‑21).
• Military flight experience.
