ISP Audit Specialist

About the role

The ISP Audit Specialist provides independent assurance on the integrity, performance, and compliance of ISP infrastructure and services across ISP domains, DWDM, OLT, and MDU environments. The role ensures that network installations, configurations, and documentation align with approved design standards and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Validate implementation activities against approved HLD/LLD designs for ISP, DWDM, OLT, and MDU environments.
• Audit network configurations including wavelengths, PON profiles, VLANs, QoS parameters, and IP addressing schemes.
• Verify end‑to‑end service provisioning from core network to customer premises and ensure correct service‑infrastructure mapping.
• Identify configuration mismatches, inactive services, provisioning gaps, and deviations from approved templates.
• Inspect site installations (racks, cabinets, ODF/FDP/MDU boxes) for proper mounting, cable management, labeling, and safety compliance.
• Validate fiber handling practices, bend‑radius compliance, cleanliness, and optical signal levels across DWDM spans and PON links.
• Assess bandwidth utilization, congestion, and overall network performance, recommending corrective actions.
• Cross‑check physical installations against OSS, GIS, and inventory systems to ensure accurate asset records.
• Audit contractor and vendor execution quality, ensuring SLA compliance and documenting defects.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with evidence and actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Background in telecom engineering, network auditing, or related technical field.
• Familiarity with ISP, DWDM, OLT, and MDU infrastructure and design standards.
• Experience conducting on‑site inspections and verifying compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to analyze network performance data and identify quality issues.
