About the role

The IT Business Solutions Senior Specialist leads the development team in designing, building, and delivering enterprise applications and digital solutions that enable SGS’s business operations and digital transformation. The role ensures high‑quality, scalable, and secure outcomes while promoting technical best practices and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise and digital solutions.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and guarantee timely delivery of projects.
• Guide backend, frontend, API, and integration development across multiple systems.
• Enforce coding standards, architecture guidelines, security policies, and best practices.
• Review source code and technical deliverables for quality, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Act as primary escalation point for complex application, integration, and production issues.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, and project teams on requirements, priorities, and timelines.
• Participate in project planning, effort estimation, technical design, and feasibility assessments.
• Oversee integrations between internal and external systems to ensure reliable data exchange.
• Drive adoption of modern technologies, Azure solutions, and DevOps tools.
• Manage source control, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and release processes.
• Monitor application performance and lead optimization, troubleshooting, and refactoring activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and development standards.
• Mentor and coach developers, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in software development, application support, and system integration.
• 2–3 years of experience leading or mentoring development teams.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application lifecycle and digital transformation initiatives.
