Junior Land Surveyor – Entry Level

About the role

The Junior Land Surveyor will support land, topographic and construction surveying activities for a variety of projects across Saudi Arabia. Working under the guidance of senior surveyors and engineers, you will gain hands‑on experience with modern surveying equipment and software while contributing to the accurate collection and processing of field data.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct land, topographic and construction surveys using Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, digital levels and other instruments.
• Establish and verify survey control points and benchmarks.
• Assist with construction setting‑out and layout for buildings, roads, utilities and infrastructure.
• Record and maintain field measurements, observations and survey notes.
• Prepare survey drawings, maps, sketches and reports using AutoCAD and related software.
• Participate in as‑built surveys to compare completed works with design specifications.
• Identify site discrepancies and report findings to senior staff.
• Support boundary and property surveys in line with project requirements and regulations.
• Perform basic survey calculations and data processing under supervision.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors and site personnel.
• Ensure proper handling, maintenance and storage of surveying equipment.
• Follow company procedures, quality standards and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience in surveying or construction projects.
• Basic knowledge of land surveying principles, methods and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, maps and technical documents.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
