Lead Engineer – Cyber Security (Substation Automation)

About the role
We are looking for a Lead Engineer specialized in Cyber Security to drive the design, implementation and assurance of secure substation automation systems. The role supports both technical tendering and execution phases across our power grid product lines.
Key responsibilities
- Estimate design effort and support tendering activities during the ITO stage.
- Review RFQs, propose cyber‑security solutions, and ensure compliance with GE policies.
- Create security architecture references, Security Assurance Plans and BOM templates for cyber‑security devices.
- Collaborate with execution teams to prepare, review, configure and conduct FAT/SAT for cyber‑security components.
- Supervise engineering activities, manage design budgets and ensure technical compliance with project specifications.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 years (72 months) of experience in substation automation and cyber‑security engineering.
- Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams in tendering and project execution.
- Strong understanding of power‑grid standards and security policies.
