Lead Solution Architect – Cyber Security for Airport

About the role

The Lead Solution Architect – Cyber Security for Airport will own and drive the cyber security architecture of a critical airport programme. Working on‑site with a hybrid model, you will embed security‑by‑design across applications, integration, data, network, infrastructure and OT to protect passengers, operations and data.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall cyber security architecture and security‑by‑design principles across all domains.
• Establish security standards, controls, identity and access management, encryption and network segmentation.
• Design and implement threat detection, monitoring and incident‑response capabilities.
• Lead threat modelling, risk assessments and ensure compliance with aviation regulations and other security requirements.
• Provide security assurance for integration, network, OT and third‑party connectivity.
• Mentor and lead a team of security architects and analysts, governing design quality and supporting estimation and planning.
• Advise senior leadership, clients and partners on the overall security posture.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in cyber security architecture on large, complex programmes.
• Broad knowledge across identity/access, network security, data protection, cloud and OT security.
• Proven ability in threat modelling, risk assessment and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of advising senior stakeholders.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, SABSA, cloud security) are desirable.
