About the role

The Learning and Development Manager leads the creation and continuous improvement of a company‑wide L&D strategy that aligns with business objectives. This role ensures that learning initiatives boost employee productivity and support the organization’s growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare, consolidate and recommend the annual L&D budget.
  • Review and refine existing L&D systems and processes, incorporating international best practices and cost‑reduction measures.
  • Maintain and update the training calendar, track attendance, and capture participant feedback.
  • Coordinate with regional L&D teams to ensure training delivery follows the agreed calendar.
  • Identify new training opportunities that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee daily L&D operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Produce timely and accurate reports for company and department requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR, department heads and regional managers to determine training needs and prioritize a 12‑month rolling training plan.
  • Design and develop curricula, partner with internal academies and external vendors, and manage related budgets and resources.
  • Implement innovative delivery methods, including in‑house sessions, e‑learning, virtual learning, mentoring and self‑learning.
  • Conduct regular training needs analyses and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and trainers.
  • Ensure training outcomes are reinforced through performance management.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in managing L&D functions and budgets.
  • Ability to coordinate cross‑regional teams and align training with business goals.
  • Strong analytical skills for needs analysis, reporting and evaluating program impact.
  • Experience designing curricula and working with internal academies or external training providers.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
