Maintenance Manager – Car Rental Fleet

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the car‑rental fleet maintenance operation in Riyadh. You will ensure high vehicle availability, control costs, and uphold safety and quality standards across the entire fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the rental fleet.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies that maximise vehicle uptime and operational efficiency.
• Oversee workshop operations, ensuring timely repairs and optimal performance.
• Monitor fleet KPIs, analyse vehicle performance data and drive reliability improvements.
• Manage relationships with external workshops, suppliers and service providers.
• Control maintenance budgets, identify cost‑saving opportunities and ensure compliance with manufacturer and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise spare‑parts inventory and procurement processes.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate the maintenance team while collaborating with Fleet Operations and other departments.
• Prepare regular performance reports and recommend continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing fleet maintenance, preferably in the car‑rental industry.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, workshop operations and fleet management.
• Excellent leadership, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
