Medical Science Liaison (Biosimilar)

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (Biosimilar) to join its Established Pharmaceuticals division in Riyadh. You will act as a scientific expert in the biosimilar therapeutic area, providing technical support and fostering credible relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scientific and technical support to physicians and opinion leaders in the assigned therapeutic area.
• Develop and deliver scientific presentations, medical education sessions, and advisory board meetings.
• Assist on special projects such as medical affairs initiatives, continuing medical education, local clinical trials, and investigator meetings.
• Respond to internal and external queries with accurate scientific information, including adverse event reporting.
• Maintain and expand a network of KOLs across the geographic region.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months (4 years) of experience in medical affairs, scientific liaison, or related pharmaceutical roles.
• Strong background in biosimilars or generic medicines is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex scientific data to diverse audiences.
