Mid-Level Internal Auditor

About the role

Fad International is looking for a Mid-Level Internal Auditor to execute the approved internal audit plan. The role involves planning engagements, testing controls, and assessing risks across stores and operational sites.

Key responsibilities

• Execute internal audit engagements in line with the approved audit plan and guidance from the Head of Internal Audit.
• Contribute to engagement planning, including scope definition, risk assessment, sampling, and evidence collection.
• Perform process walkthroughs, conduct controls testing, and document results in clear working papers.
• Assess compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and internal controls.
• Prepare audit observations, reports, and follow‑up on corrective action plans.
• Support the Head of Internal Audit in updating risk registers and risk‑and‑control assessments.
• Visit stores and operational locations as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, risk or compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with risk identification, risk assessment, and maintaining risk registers.
• Professional proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Saudi nationality and willingness to travel to operational sites.

Required skills

• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills for working papers and data analysis.
• Working knowledge of IPPF, GIAS 2024 and COSO frameworks.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
