Middle+ General QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Middle+ General QA Engineer to join a fast‑paced technology environment in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on ensuring high quality for web and hybrid applications throughout the development lifecycle, from early feature design to release.

Key responsibilities

• Own the quality assurance process for assigned features, collaborating with engineers and product owners from concept to delivery.
• Perform comprehensive manual testing, including functional, exploratory, acceptance, and regression testing on desktop and mobile browsers.
• Conduct UI/UX testing to verify consistent behavior across supported platforms.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases, checklists, and documentation aligned with project requirements.
• Report bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected results, and technical details.
• Support test automation initiatives and contribute to automated test suites.
• Execute cross‑browser and cross‑device testing using cloud services such as BrowserStack.
• Validate APIs with tools like Postman and analyze logs using Kibana to investigate defects.
• Identify quality risks, communicate findings, and assist in timely issue resolution during releases.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in software testing or quality assurance, preferably with web‑based products.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing processes, and industry best practices.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to investigate and document issues.
