Order Taker – Hotel Linen & Guest Services

About the role

The Order Taker ensures a continuous supply of clean linens, towels and other textiles for guests while delivering the exceptional hospitality experience Hilton is known for. You will act as a liaison between guests, housekeeping and other hotel departments to keep rooms ready and guests satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Handle team member and guest requests, delegating them to the appropriate individuals and following up to meet department and hotel standards.
• Maintain the computerized Work Order System by logging, recording, implementing, distributing and closing all service requests.
• Coordinate with the Floor Supervisor team to ensure vacant, ready rooms are available to the Front Office.
• Respond to emergency calls, monitor the alarm system, dispatch personnel and notify relevant departments.
• Control office traffic and present a positive, professional image to guests.
• Maintain brand quality standards and remain calm during emergency situations.
• Manage guest supplies, prepare requisitions and handle lost‑and‑found items.

Required profile

• Passion for spreading the light and warmth of hospitality.
• Integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership and a sense of urgency.
• Prior laundry or housekeeping experience.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment.
• Basic knowledge of laundry chemicals.
