About the role
We are seeking an experienced immunology researcher with a PhD to serve as a peer reviewer for scientific manuscripts. This is a long‑term, part‑time remote position supporting the journal’s editorial process.
Key responsibilities
- Assess novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts.
- Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
- Check literature review for relevance and completeness.
- Analyse results and conclusions for clarity and validity.
- Provide constructive, written feedback and suggest improvements.
- Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the editor.
Required profile
- Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in immunology or related field.
- At least five peer‑reviewed papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the last three years.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
- Prior experience as a journal peer reviewer is highly desirable.
Required skills
- Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
- Knowledge of research methodologies and ethical standards.
