Planner – Maintenance Scheduling (Oil & Gas)

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Planner to develop and manage preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance plans for its oil & gas assets in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on weekly and monthly scheduling of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and general services activities, ensuring optimal asset availability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly routine and preventive maintenance plans covering all relevant disciplines.
• Ensure proper resource planning, sourcing of materials, spare parts, tools and personnel to meet the schedule.
• Analyze and record critical operational and maintenance issues affecting equipment, plants and utilities.
• Participate in cross‑division meetings, providing technical inputs and recommendations for maintenance planning.
• Coordinate with the CET Division to evaluate progress, conduct technical studies and propose new planning practices.
• Maintain statistical maintenance and technical reports, and keep a historical database of all plans.
• Utilize SAP and other computer tools to implement and track maintenance activities.
• Assist in defining and measuring Contractor Key Performance Indicators.
• Ensure compliance with HSE rules and promote safe work practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas maintenance (high‑school level) or 8 years with a diploma.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs across mechanical, electrical and instrumentation domains.
• Well‑organized, proactive and able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven leadership abilities and experience coordinating large‑scale maintenance programs.
