Planner/Scheduler II

About the role

Worley is seeking a Planner/Scheduler II to develop, maintain, and update project schedules across the lifecycle of energy, chemicals, and resources projects. The role supports detailed work pack coordination, monitors engineering, procurement, and construction activities, and provides performance reporting to ensure projects stay on track.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update project schedules in line with approved execution plans.
• Coordinate planning and scheduling interfaces among the project team, client, and EPC contractors.
• Monitor engineering, procurement, construction, and other execution activities, preparing daily and weekly progress reports.
• Support earned value analysis and assess project performance against baselines.
• Identify schedule variances, delays, constraints and emerging risks, and assist in developing recovery plans.
• Maintain Level 3 engineering and project schedules, and manage the Client Master Schedule.
• Track engineering deliverables via Master Document Register and Engineering Deliverables Status Register.
• Prepare procurement progress reports and highlight impacts on project milestones.
• Review contractor schedules, progress updates, look‑ahead schedules and forecasts.
• Validate reported physical progress against project records and completed work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in project planning, scheduling or project controls within oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, energy or industrial sectors.
• Experience supporting EPC, downstream, brownfield or site‑execution projects.
