Principal Architect & General Manager – Architecture & Fit‑Out

About the role

Burjline Builders is seeking an experienced leader to head its Architecture, Design, Multimedia & Signage division. The role combines architectural expertise, project delivery oversight, and business development to expand the company’s external client portfolio across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall operations, strategy and business performance of the Architecture & Fit‑Out division.
• Oversee architecture, interior design, fit‑out, signage and related project activities for F&B, restaurant, café, retail and commercial projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams of architects, designers, project managers and engineers.
• Review and approve design concepts, drawings and technical documents.
• Develop and implement business strategies to acquire external clients and grow the third‑party portfolio.
• Lead client presentations, proposals, commercial negotiations and contract development.
• Monitor project profitability, budgets, resources and overall business performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 15+ years of professional architectural experience with at least 7 years in senior management.
• Proven track record in F&B, restaurant, café, retail, hospitality and fit‑out projects.
• Strong network within the Saudi/GCC construction and retail markets is highly preferred.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts and commercial negotiations.
• Deep understanding of Saudi building regulations and industry standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BIM and modern architectural/design technologies.
• Knowledge of Saudi building regulations and compliance requirements.
