Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will be based on‑site at Al Kharj Industrial City, managing the complete procurement cycle for a leading plastics manufacturer. This full‑time position supports uninterrupted production by ensuring timely sourcing of materials, equipment and services.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers, request quotations and assess offers.
• Issue purchase orders and negotiate contracts and pricing.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Analyze inventory and consumption data to forecast material needs.
• Coordinate with production, finance and warehouse teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and ethical guidelines.
• Conduct market research to identify cost‑saving and sourcing improvements.

Required profile

• Strong background in procurement and purchasing processes.
• Experience handling purchase orders and contract negotiations.
• Solid analytical skills for cost monitoring and demand forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Preferably experienced in manufacturing, plastics or packaging environments.
• Must be a Saudi national and able to work on‑site in Al Kharj.
