Procurement Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Procurement Officer to join our Riyadh team. The role involves sourcing products, negotiating commercial terms, managing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and develop relationships with reliable local and international suppliers.
• Source products, obtain competitive quotations and prepare commercial comparisons for management approval.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit facilities, delivery schedules and other commercial conditions.
• Prepare, issue and track purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Monitor supplier performance on pricing, quality, availability and delivery, and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date database of suppliers, products, prices and contractual terms.
• Conduct market research to uncover new suppliers and purchasing opportunities.
• Coordinate with sales, finance, warehouse and management teams regarding purchasing requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or supply chain.
• Proven experience negotiating commercial terms with suppliers.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Good understanding of the Saudi market and local suppliers is preferred.
