Procurement Officer – Workshop Requirements (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The company seeks an experienced Procurement Officer to support workshop requirements for a leading Oil & Gas client in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing a wide range of materials and equipment to keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase plates, pipes, fittings, flanges, welding consumables, structural materials, equipment, and tools according to approved MTOs and specifications.
• Manage RFQs, evaluate suppliers, conduct technical and commercial comparisons, negotiate terms, issue purchase orders, and follow up on delivery and expediting.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, QA/QC, Stores, Finance, and Project teams to ensure material specifications, approvals, inspection requirements, and documentation are met.
• Maintain material traceability and ensure compliance with ASME/API standards and client‑specific (MTC) requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or BE Mechanical.
• 3–8 years of experience in industrial fabrication, pressure‑vessel, heat‑exchanger, structural steel, or EPC procurement, preferably supporting Saudi Aramco, SABIC or major EPC clients.
• Strong knowledge of material grades, ASME/API standards, MTC requirements, and procurement procedures.
