Purchasing Representative

About the role

The Purchasing Representative will execute purchasing activities for assigned materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely procurement aligned with operational needs. The role involves supplier coordination, purchase order processing, and adherence to company purchasing procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase order processing: receive approved requests, prepare accurate purchase orders, and follow up with suppliers for acceptance and delivery dates.
• Supplier coordination: track order status, resolve queries, expedite deliveries, and maintain records of interactions.
• Data management: update ERP systems (e.g., SAP) with order details, maintain documentation for audit readiness.
• Compliance and cost control: ensure activities follow company policies, monitor costs, report variances, and identify savings opportunities.
• Internal stakeholder liaison: clarify requirements with requesting departments and share delivery updates to support production schedules.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience (fresh graduate level).
• Ability to acquire updated soft and technical skills and plan a career path.
• Problem‑solving, quality focus, and compliance awareness.
