QA/QC Architectural Engineer

About the role

The QA/QC Architectural Engineer will control and monitor the quality of all architectural works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, material submittals, method statements, mockups, ITPs, approved samples and overall project quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, material submittals, method statements, ITPs and approved samples.
• Inspect architectural works such as blockwork, plastering, finishes, flooring, stone/marble, painting, drywall, ceilings, doors, façade/cladding, waterproofing interfaces and fit‑out works for compliance.
• Prepare and review work inspection requests (WIR/MIR), inspection checklists and quality documentation.
• Identify non‑conforming works, raise NCRs/SORs and follow up corrective actions.
• Monitor subcontractor workmanship and coordinate with site, construction, technical office, procurement and consultant teams on quality matters.
• Participate in mock‑up, consultant/client inspections, snagging, de‑snagging and final handover activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in architectural QA/QC on construction projects.
• Ability to produce periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Proven problem‑solving skills and capability to escalate complex operational issues.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance on site.
