QA/QC Engineer (Site Supervision)

About the role

Egis, a global engineering, consulting and construction firm active in the Middle East, is looking for a QA/QC Engineer (Site Supervision) in Riyadh. The role oversees quality assurance and quality control on site, ensuring work meets standards, specifications and regulatory requirements, and involves supervising QA/QC operations, conducting inspections and keeping detailed records.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on-site QA/QC inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Supervise and coordinate QA/QC personnel and activities across all project phases
• Perform testing and inspections, document findings and analyse results to spot quality issues and improvements
• Prepare detailed quality reports and keep organised records of all QA/QC activities
• Report quality findings and recommendations to project management and stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to quality management systems, procedures and regulations
• Investigate discrepancies and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain good working relationships with contractors, suppliers and project teams

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in QA/QC inspection and site-based quality control
• Proven site supervision or supervisory experience in construction, manufacturing or engineering
• Knowledge of quality standards, codes and specifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and attention to detail
• Preferred: ISO 9001, ASQ or equivalent certification; experience with quality management information systems and digital documentation tools; project management or project coordination experience
