Research Capability Building Manager

About the role

Leads the development of research capabilities within Fakeeh Care Group, promoting research policies, training programmes and collaborations to enhance research excellence across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Research Capability Building Unit (RCBU).
• Develop SOPs, infrastructure and processes to ensure compliance with ICH‑GCP and other regulatory standards.
• Create medical research policies, IRB guidelines and scientific evaluation standards.
• Oversee accreditation and registration with bodies such as SNIH, RDIA and AAHRPP.
• Manage biobanking systems, disease registries and grant‑linked training programmes.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration within FCG and with external partners.
• Assess research skills, design training programmes and expand the pool of qualified Principal Investigators.
• Maintain communication between RCBU, IRB and corporate functions, and promote research initiatives internally and externally.
• Support post‑trial activities including manuscript preparation and presentation of findings.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical trial management, including CRO and operational leadership.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Clinical Research Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Science, Medical Laboratory Sciences or related fields.
• Excellent English proficiency; Arabic preferred.
• Relevant certification in clinical trial management (e.g., SOCRA, ACRP) is advantageous.
