Reservoir Engineer – Consulting Experience, Permanent Expat Role in Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Reservoir Engineer to join the Upstream Professional Development Center (UPDC), a corporate university that delivers professional training to petroleum engineers and geoscientists. The role is based in Saudi Arabia and includes a full expatriate relocation package.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver Reservoir Engineering training programs, including classroom and e‑learning formats.
• Teach and apply numerical simulation, analytical modeling and experimental analysis to characterize reservoir rocks and fluids.
• Predict fluid flow and pressure behavior and design optimal well placement, completion and production strategies.
• Create and update curriculum content, course schedules and onboarding programs for upstream professionals.
• Collaborate with technical advisors from other disciplines to build multidisciplinary courses.
• Collect post‑course feedback and continuously improve training material.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering (advanced degree is a plus).
• Minimum 15 years of reservoir engineering experience, including at least 10 years in a technical role with mentoring responsibilities.
• Proven experience in consulting, training, simulation or e‑learning environments.
