Retail Specialist

About the role

The Retail Specialist will deliver an exceptional retail experience for guests visiting Corallium, a marine‑focused attraction in Amaala’s Triple Bay. You will greet visitors, process sales, and promote the attraction’s wider activities, contributing to both guest satisfaction and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm, professional manner aligned with the attraction’s values.
• Assist guests with product inquiries, providing accurate information to support purchasing decisions.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, handling cash, card and digital payments.
• Cross‑sell and upsell retail products and the attraction’s experiences to maximise sales opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space, ensuring shelves are fully stocked.
• Monitor stock levels, report low inventory, and participate in stock counts and audits.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and process returns, exchanges and refunds according to policy.
• Adhere to cash‑handling procedures and ensure till accuracy at shift start and end.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in retail operations, sales or customer service.
• Experience with inventory management, merchandising and POS systems.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
