ROS2 Engineer – Robotics Software Development

About the role

We are looking for a ROS2 Engineer to design, develop, and maintain ROS2 nodes for our quadruped and mobile robot platforms. You will work at the cutting edge of robotics, turning innovative concepts into reliable, field‑ready solutions for industrial environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ROS2 nodes tailored to quadruped and mobile robots.
• Build and fine‑tune navigation stacks, including SLAM, autonomous path planning, and obstacle avoidance.
• Integrate sensors such as LiDAR, IMU, depth cameras, and force‑feedback sensors.
• Adapt vendor SDKs to align with our AI platform and client‑specific needs.
• Commission and troubleshoot robots on‑site at industrial facilities.
• Collaborate with the computer‑vision team to embed real‑time perception into decision‑making.

Required profile

• Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–5 years of hands‑on experience in robotics or automation.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ROS2.
• Strong programming skills in C++ (and optionally Python).
• Experience with SLAM and navigation algorithms.
• Sensor integration expertise (LiDAR, IMU, depth cameras, force‑feedback sensors).
• Ability to adapt and integrate vendor SDKs.
