Sales Manager – Freight Forwarding

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our freight forwarding and logistics business in Riyadh. The successful candidate will drive growth by acquiring new customers, managing key accounts and delivering tailored air, sea and land freight solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across air, sea, land freight, customs clearance, warehousing and value‑added logistics services.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with corporate clients, importers, exporters and decision‑makers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial presentations, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Manage existing accounts, uncovering additional sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
• Produce regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports and performance updates for management.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and networking forums.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing or a related field.
• 5–8 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong network within the Saudi logistics and freight forwarding market (preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding processes and supply‑chain solutions.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid Saudi driving licence (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems.
