Scholarship Program Specialist

About the role

The Scholarship Program Specialist will manage and develop IsDB's scholarship and community development programmes. Working from the Jeddah headquarters, you will coordinate with scholarship recipients, education authorities, partner organisations and internal departments to ensure effective implementation and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in annual work‑plan and budget preparation for scholarship activities.
• Explain policies, conduct orientations and support partners during missions and events.
• Review scholarship applications, prepare selection reports and monitor recipient performance.
• Handle reimbursements, disbursements and SAP validations for timely payments.
• Provide administrative assistance and counselling to scholars throughout their study period.
• Facilitate post‑study activities, alumni networking and community development initiatives.
• Prepare periodic and ad‑hoc reports on programme performance and partner assessments.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of relevant experience in scholarship or education programme administration.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and under senior technical guidance.
