Security Officer – Risk Management

About the role

We are seeking a Security Officer – Risk Management to join Jumeirah Jabal Omar in Mecca. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring surveillance systems and supporting fire, life and safety matters within the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot patrols to maintain a visible security presence.
• Monitor CCTV systems and report any unusual or suspicious activities.
• Control access to designated areas, ensuring compliance with identification and verification protocols.
• Assist in key distribution and maintain accountability for key management.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, following company procedures and liaising with emergency services when required.
• Provide support in fire, life, and safety matters, escalating concerns to the appropriate team leaders.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a security or service‑oriented role.
• Higher secondary education as a minimum qualification.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.
• Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high‑pressure situations.
