Senior Commercial Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead the commercial and contractual management of major construction projects in Riyadh. The role focuses on high‑rise towers, luxury hospitality, hotels, mixed‑use developments and other landmark projects delivered by Tier‑1 contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial and contractual functions from pre‑contract through final account.
• Develop and implement the project’s commercial strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Administer FIDIC and other construction contracts, ensuring compliance with obligations.
• Manage variations, change orders, claims, extensions of time and contractual notices.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, revenue, profitability and overall commercial performance.
• Review and approve interim payment applications, subcontractor payments and final accounts.
• Oversee procurement, negotiations, contract awards and settlements with major subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular commercial reporting to senior management and collaborate with project directors, planners, finance and legal teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Commercial Manager on large‑scale construction projects.
• Background delivering high‑rise towers, luxury hotels or mixed‑use developments.
• Experience with Tier‑1 international or regional main contractors.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and commercial procedures.
• Ability to manage claims, variations and procurement negotiations.
