Senior Commercial Manager – Residential Projects

About the role

JASARA PMC is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to lead commercial activities across a portfolio of residential development projects. You will be responsible for implementing commercial strategies, overseeing contract administration, procurement, and financial oversight to maximise project profitability and success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies for residential development projects.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and company policies, including change and claim management.
• Lead, motivate and develop the commercial team to enhance performance.
• Report regularly to senior management on commercial performance and key milestones.
• Identify opportunities to optimise costs and improve operational efficiencies.
• Prepare commercial sections of RFPs, assess consultant proposals, manage post‑tender clarifications and review draft agreements.
• Manage post‑contract activities such as interim payments, change control, contractor claims and cost reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years client‑side experience.
• GCC experience in residential projects.
• 2‑3 years MRICS certification (preferred).
• Ability to read Arabic (preferred).
• Experience with Ares Prism software (preferred).
