Senior Conference Producer - LIONS Riyadh (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

Tahaluf, a joint venture between Informa PLC, SAFCSP and the Events Investment Fund, is looking for a Senior Conference Producer to shape and deliver the content programme for LIONS Riyadh, a three-day festival of creativity launched in partnership with LIONS and the Saudi Ministry of Media. The role works closely with the Head of Content to identify themes, secure speakers and manage the programme and order of show at the festival.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high-level conference programmes and research, develop and write sessions on creativity, marketing, media, technology and culture
• Liaise with professionals and institutions, engage with and confirm speakers, and update the speaker database
• Prepare creative briefs for Marketing, speaker briefs, session narratives and moderator guidance
• Help provide leads to the Commercial and Partnerships teams and mentor other conference producers
• Research topics with industry professionals, stay connected to advertising, marketing, media, technology and the creator economy, and build a network of brands, agencies, media companies and creative leaders
• Develop new content formats such as masterclasses, debates, workshops, live case studies and creative demonstrations
• Manage speakers and the order of show onsite, liaise with speakers, partners and delegates, and assist with onsite duties including extended hours
• Conduct post-festival analysis of session performance, audience feedback and programme learning

Required profile

• Degree level education or equivalent; a degree in media, marketing, communications, journalism or creative industries is advantageous
• At least five years of experience in conference production
• Fluent English speaker and writer, and an Arabic speaker
• Experience securing and managing senior or high-profile speakers

• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Copywriting and commercial awareness
• Strong editorial judgement and project-management skills
