Senior Electrical Engineer – Large Infrastructure Road Project

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh, focusing on large‑scale road, highway, bridge and tunnel infrastructure. The role involves technical coordination of all electrical works within civil and transportation projects, ensuring quality, design compliance and value‑engineering optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Technical control and coordination of all electrical works and integration with other disciplines (irrigation, mechanical, lighting, ITS).
• Review and approve contractor’s technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals and design changes.
• Conduct drawing revisions, quality‑control checks and value‑engineering assessments.
• Provide technical advice on design issues and ensure compliance with project concepts.
• Review O&M manuals, maintenance materials, tools and equipment supplied by contractors.
• Act as the primary liaison between the electrical engineering department and the Technical Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project management of mega‑construction infrastructure projects, with a focus on onsite landscaping consultancy.
• Strong understanding of construction, design and engineering principles, local building codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
