Senior Landscape Architect

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead smaller, less complex landscape design projects in Riyadh. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage client interactions, and deliver complete technical landscape packages with minimal oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead independent landscape design projects, preparing fee‑based deployment plans and coordinating team roles.
• Lead client meetings, define deliverable structures, and ensure compliance with public realm, sustainability, and regional regulatory standards.
• Develop and present design concepts, workshop summaries, and technical landscape packages, incorporating planting, irrigation, and GIS analyses.
• Support bid preparation, financial reporting, and cost plan reviews while mentoring junior designers.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of professional experience in landscape architecture with proven project delivery and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of public realm design principles, regional standards, and sustainable landscape practices.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary inputs and managing project financial status.
• Ability to mentor and coach junior landscape architects and graduates.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with 3D visualization and BIM tools such as SketchUp and Revit.
• Competence in GIS software and digital mapping for environmental analysis.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, for presentation and visualization.
• Experience creating high‑quality renderings using Lumion.
