Senior Manager - Civil

About the role

The Senior Manager – Civil oversees the entire lifecycle of civil works for infrastructure projects, from post‑award contract negotiations to on‑site execution. This position ensures that civil activities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead post‑award negotiations with contractors to optimise cost, schedule and scope while maintaining quality.
• Review, finalise and manage civil contracts in line with project objectives, legal requirements and company policies.
• Monitor civil work progress through regular site visits, milestone tracking and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Identify potential delays, implement corrective actions and provide progress reports to senior management.
• Control project budgets, manage risks and ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Facilitate integration of civil activities with mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing civil construction projects, preferably in infrastructure.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate and finalise contracts.
• Excellent project management capabilities, including schedule and budget control.
• Solid understanding of safety, quality and environmental regulations.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
