Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for securing the best terms, discounts and long‑term agreements with suppliers to support both customer‑related processes and internal operations. This role requires strong analytical abilities and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and long‑term contracts with suppliers for goods, services and supplies.
• Manage purchase orders supporting both customer‑related processes and internal needs.
• Address defects and delivery issues, negotiating refunds or corrective actions with vendors.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, warehouse and engineering to schedule and move goods efficiently.
• Solve complex procurement problems using industry best practices and continuous‑improvement methods.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
