Senior Project Manager – Construction Operations

About the role

The Senior Project Manager in construction operations leads complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring scope, schedule and budget are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget and resource allocation.
• Manage and coordinate project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
• Monitor and control project budgets, addressing any deviations promptly.
• Create and maintain project schedules, track progress and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Ensure all work complies with quality standards, project specifications and building codes.
• Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies to protect scope, schedule and budget.
• Oversee contract management, including negotiation, execution and compliance.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders and team members, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Resolve issues and obstacles that arise during the construction process.
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support HSE initiatives, participate in safety activities and contribute to incident reporting in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of overall work experience.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory position.
• Preferably 10 years of experience in the GCC region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional qualification such as PMP.
• Mandatory registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
