Senior Tax Accountant – Tax Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to lead tax planning, compliance and control across all affiliates of a holding group in Dammam. The role combines strategic tax optimisation with hands‑on management of tax filings and audits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership on tax planning, compliance and control for all group entities.
• Manage compliance with VAT, Zakat, income tax and withholding tax across the group.
• Identify, evaluate and mitigate taxation risks.
• Oversee preparation, review and timely filing of affiliate tax returns.
• Optimise the group’s tax expense by identifying savings opportunities.
• Maintain and update the group’s transfer pricing policy and related agreements.
• Monitor tax law developments and devise strategies to leverage changes.
• Implement process improvements in tax procedures and control mechanisms.
• Manage tax audits, prepare responses and schedules.
• Support internal audits and special tax‑related projects.
• Develop and mentor members of the tax team.
• Promote tax knowledge through communication and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in tax and compliance, preferably in KSA.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi tax code, VAT, Zakat and related regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferred).
